I just pulled mine out and went back to the stock configuration. I never even got the clear hoses to turn dark with oil, let alone actually "catch" any in the can. Total waste of 90 dollars in my situation.

Now if only I could straighten out my damn off boost hesitation at part throttle 5-6000rpms

In our case, doesn't a catch can reroute some more oil vapor, effectively increasing our octane rating and keeping detonation away?

that's the idea and it works well for some people. In my particular situation so little oil vapor even collected in my catch can that the tubing that fed the catch can didnt even discolor with condensed vapor passing through. It amounted to little more than something shiny to take up space under the hood. I might reinstall it again with a duct to cool the canister and greatly improve the condensation of vapor. That might be better I dunno. Lots of people use these and like them.

Thanks BoostedEX! My Eclipse GST friend and I are probably going to look into that soon. More him than me though. He actually gets oil in his IC pipes!

BTW, are there installation instructions that come with it? Would someone mind posting some install instructions or a diagram of some sort? Thanks again in advance.
